Resort Facilities
Rusutsu Resort offers three main accommodation options:
-
Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention Center
-
The Westin Rusutsu Resort
-
The Vale Rusutsu (apartment-style hotel)
Each hotel has its own unique style, allowing you to choose based on your budget and group size. Both the Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention Center and the Westin provide ski equipment rental and have on-site shopping malls, covering everything you need for your snow adventure. Just check in and leave your gear worries behind! After a day on the slopes, enjoy Hokkaido’s freshest seafood, meats, and dairy at the buffet restaurant, or choose from French, Italian, and Japanese restaurants to suit any taste. The natural hot springs with outdoor views are the perfect way to relax after skiing.

The hotel offers several natural hot springs for guests.

A super convenient shuttle train connects the hotels.
Ski Area
Rusutsu Ski Resort is spread across three connected mountains. The West Mountain is closest to Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention Center and The Vale Rusutsu, while East Mountain is near the Westin Rusutsu Resort. Isola Mountain, on the left side of the trail map, is famous for its long, smooth runs and incredible powder, making it ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers. Beginners usually start on the wide, uncrowded green runs of West or East Mountain, with ski instructors guiding them step by step.

Check the trail map in front of East Mountain before heading out.

A must-visit spot: see the adorable sheep and horses—always a favorite for kids and families!

Skiing through the amusement park is a unique experience—come join the fun!
For kids, the resort also offers the exclusive Crayon Shin-chan Children’s Ski School (not yet confirmed for the 2023–24 season), where professional instructors help children learn and enjoy skiing together. Soon, they’ll be hitting the slopes with the whole family!
Limited-Edition Treats
Inside the Resort Hotel & Convention Center, don’t miss “Daniel Street Café & Pastry Shop,” home to the “Bear in the Forest Cream Puff.” Made with Hokkaido’s finest milk and fresh eggs, this custard-filled choux pastry is crisp on the outside and rich on the inside—one is never enough!
