How to Get to Niseko from New Chitose Airport?

Here’s some transport info for everyone 🙂

1. Bus – Get off at Hirafu Welcome Center

You can take a bus directly from New Chitose Airport. There are several companies: Resort Liner, White Liner, Chou Bus, Niseko Ground Service, and IXSM. These also provide routes from Sapporo city to Niseko. For convenience, I personally recommend the bus—super easy, direct, and you just rest for a bit over two hours to arrive! But note, the last bus is around 9:30 pm and departures are limited. Especially during peak travel season, seats are hard to get, so be sure to book your ticket in advance.

2. JR Kutchan Station – Get off at Kutchan

After arriving at Kutchan, transfer to a bus or taxi to reach Niseko. The train is cheap and the views are great—the route passes Otaru’s coastline and snowy mountains. But you’ll need to transfer at Sapporo and Otaru, so it’s best for travelers with little luggage. If you have lots of bags or are traveling with family, this might not be the best option.

3. Private Charter – Door to Door

The most relaxing way! The price is higher, but still cheaper than a taxi. Great option for groups of eight or more. If you need a private car, feel free to contact us for help!
